Pager Overview
Summary: UCI Health offers employees two types of pagers. Read this overview, then make the choice that's best for you.
Type of pager: Alpha Pagers display both text and numbers:
- No chargers or special batteries are required
- The monthly price includes the lease of the pager
Pager features:UCI Health Sciences pagers offer a variety of "Features Link" including e-mail paging, voice mail, and data cast
- Coverage areas: UCI Health pagers offer "Coverage" that extends as far north as San Luis Obispo. You can also add other areas, including, Statewide Coverage and Nationwide Coverage
Pager Costs: "Cost Link" for monthly rates vary, depending on the type of pager and coverage you choose

Special Offer: UCI Health employees can take advantage of Special Pricing for personal pagers through American Messaging
Lost, stolen, or damaged pagers: UCI Health employees whose pagers are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear will be charged a fee:
- 1-Way Alpha Pagers- $69.95
- 2-Way Pagers - $99.99
If you'd like the pager replaced, submit a Request For Interdepartmental Charge form. The replacement pager will use the same number.
